COMPENSATION

The intern will be compensated at a rate of $8 per hour to be paid on a bi-weekly basis.

SUMMARY

The Market Research Intern will be involved in sponsorship research, market research and business development processes for the Company and its clients. This will include researching prospects and creating company dossiers. The intern will sharpen the tools needed to be a successful individual within the sports marketing industry. The Market Research Intern should be professional, self-motivated, positive and have a desire for a career in marketing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research sponsorship prospects for Company clients.
  • Assist with the development of sponsorship and sales reports for the Company and its clients.
  • Refine and customize proposals.
  • Develop prospect lists for staff by studying sponsors of other sports/athletes.
  • Perform research for various Company and client projects.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION REQUIRED

  • Working toward a degree in business, marketing, sales or sports management.
  • Familiarity with brands that sponsor sporting events.
  • Experience researching and/or calling on prospective partners.
  • Previous marketing or sales-oriented internship(s) is a plus.
  • Experience or familiarity with HubSpot, Sales Force or Cision is a plus.

COMMITMENT

20 – 25 hours per week
