Administrative Information:

Dates: Week of May 14, 2018 to week of August 6, 2018

Commitment: 20 – 25 hours per week

Compensation: $8 per hour to be paid on a bi-weekly basis

About the Role:

We are looking for a results-driven Market Research Intern who will be involved in sponsorship research, market research and business development processes for the Company and its clients. This will include researching prospects and creating company dossiers.

The ideal candidate for our Market Research Intern position should be professional, self-motivated, positive and have a desire for a career in marketing.

In addition, candidates must:

  • Be resourceful, creative and energetic in the way they approach research
  • Be collaborative and able to work in a team environment
  • Be working toward a degree in business, marketing, sales or sports management

Job functions include:

  • Researching sponsorship prospects for Company clients
  • Assisting with the development of sponsorship and sales reports for the Company and its clients
  • Refining and customizing proposals
  • Developing prospect lists for staff by studying sponsors of other sports/athletes
  • Performing research for various Company and client projects
