About the Role:

We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Specialist who will specialize in developing new accounts by identifying prospects’ marketing and business challenges and matches those with agency services and ideas. This position will develop strategies and tactics for locating, developing, defining, negotiating and closing new business relationships for the Company.

The ideal candidate for our Business Development Specialist role will be a self-starter, charismatic and highly motivated.  You must have prior success in hunting for, identifying and qualifying high quality business opportunities.

In addition, candidates must:

  • Have prior success getting meetings with C-level and top executives.
  • Be a strong hunter able to prospect through cold calling, networking, or working through the infrastructure of large target accounts.
  • Have high character. You are trustworthy, authentic, and do what you say you will do.
  • Be resourceful, creative, and energetic in the way that you approach selling.
  • Have a record of being determined; exceeding expected performance and goals.
  • Demonstrate strong selling skills.  
  • Be collaborative and able to work in a team environment.
  • Be goal oriented and have evidence of reaching ambitious goals through tactical planning, effective execution, and the ability to learn and adapt from your mistakes.
  • Have excellent people skills; an ability to interact effectively and in a professional, diplomatic and mature manner with customers as well as internal and external clients at all levels.
  • Experience in marketing services sales and a bachelor’s degree are highly valued but not required.  You must have prior earnings of at least $45,000 in a sales role.
